  3. I know that there is NO Rules but make sure you varnish the work really well .
House based paint will flake and peel off in very short time.

I have used oil varnish in the past on house base paint, and havent had any movement .

  4. yeah I was concerned about that. Do you think adding Matt medium to the paint helps prevent this?

  5. This is the big Q, Oil based house paint is fine and you see the results in all the big artist work. Most of the Oil based house paints artist we see are dead and anyone using these products for painting art needs to use the correct protection.

Acrylic House paint has know structure like the Artist Quality pigments but i see that your getting results, but you can get the same results using Acrylic, ink, and raw pigments mixed with acrylic varnish.

As i was saying for the moment just varnish the work several times and or matt medium gel.

Plus you could try using pva glue mixed into the paint.

Anyway its great to see your work .

  7. It's also around 60 by 40. I can measure it for you next time I am in the studio.
